I am from South Africa, can speak English, Afrikaans, and understand Dutch. I want to work somewhere in Europe, a beautiful country near the ocean. But make enough money to spend and travel. Any suggestions?

working in greece could be hard but if you have proper education and you come as a specialist working in a big company(i mean you get enough money)you will see that greece is a paradise for you.All year round it is great.Things you need to concider include the below:the salaries are the lowest among the members of the E.U. while the prices tend to be the highest, the environment is brilliant and the people really nice, since you like the sea you would find working in Athens perfect(in20 minutes you are in the beach). You should concider also Cyprus(better salaries, easier to work there without having to speak Greek and of course you are as close to the sea as you could be.Of course the same about the turkish people but that is your thing to concider! lol
If i had to chose i would chose sweden(great salaries perfect community awfull weather,or Ireland(the same without the community part)or France are more or less the same.Of course you should concider Belgium,ok it is not too close to sea but it is in a spot ideal for traveling around europe.I also loved it as a country. And you can also practise your Dutch(really near by is Holland you know that)....so prefer greece if you come as a top manager or something like that, central europe as a medium level worker.
and (i know it is not tottaly related)go to russia if you want to make money and move up the lader really fast...

If you want to work on the Med, your choices are Spain, France, and Italy. Greece and Cyprus are also possibilities.
Your primary consideration should be which languages you speak. If you can't converse in the local language, you're unlikely to get a good job anywhere.

I have had friends who have worked on the Greek islands and they have all said that they loved it. I also had a friend who went to work over in Florence Italy and she said that it was breath takingly beautiful over there and that she enjoyed the work as a chef. I would suggest if you are planning to go over to Europe to work pick the place that best suits your skills. If you work in art both of these places along with France are good places to go. I hope this helped and good luck.

Hoesit!
I have been to all countries in Western Europe besides for Portugal.
For some reason belgium has always stuck out as the one place I would love to live... brugge belgium is my favorite place in belgium.
It just seems so peaceful there... Also the location makes it easy to travel around europe... Its right in the center
They speak dutch there but they also speak flemish and french...
I guess you just have to go places to decide what you really enjoy.... I can explain why i liked brugge so much or belgium so much.... but I definately did... who knows what you will fancy... You should explore! then settle down somewhere you like
Good luck!

Hello dear! Well, you said it!
Best country in Europe is Greece!
Well, regarding work, there are many difficulties, though! Of course it depends on the kind of work you know and are willing to do! Also, is you know exact prospective place!
Good luck!

Ireland ain't bad
You hardly pay taxes or social security over there which leaves you with a pretty pay check at the end of the month
