IF at all definition of classic is being timeless and everytime you see you feel its not enough then my classic is undoubtedly
MAYABAZAAR - TELUGU Vijaya productions directed by Sri K.V.Reddi- A great director and visionary .Produced by Chakrapani and Nagi reddi . Other 2 legends whom India and definitely south india will always remain indebted .Reasons for it to classic:
1. Bring together such a huge starcast and extracting disciplined performances from each and every big and junior artist is first huge task.
2.Till date the best visual efx film made - why ? Marcus bartley the cinematographer was an extraordinary gentleman who gave those astounding efx which till date no one can replicate with latest technology.Imagine they did it in 50's.
3.Screenplay - Dialogues - Lyrics - Music :blend so aesthetically that till date its unmatched in the realm of indian cinema.
4.If there has to be an imaginary vision of lord krishna or ghatotkacha or a shakuni - i know for sure any telugite cannot see beyond NTR - SVR - CSR
5. Savitri - Words cannot fill this space
6. Tech savvy innovations predictions : Laptop was designed then ; Abhimanyu and sasirekha has live video conference and so advanced that laptop and wi fi that you will only see your favourite when you open it ? till 2020we can't expect such technology.
7. Different missile designs - war between abhimanyu and gatthotkacha
8. Boat ride - nature - split song same lyric - LAHIRI LAHIRI LAHIRI LO - best song of telugu cinema for ever.
9. Comedy - Relangi -Ramanareddy -allu etc .Unmatched
10. Sets design - the ultimate visual composition
I can go on like this ....... c'mon answer this question :
When sasirekha opens laptop she sees abhimanyu ,when lord krishna opens - whom does he see and why ? Answer this lets start mayabaazaar fanclub.

Anand.
This story concept was first time ever been played on screen in all whole world.Afterwards copied by many ,including karan johar in kal ho naho.
at that time India was not so much globalised as it now ,iam 100% sure that Anand could have one oscar.
Its all time gr8 "Indian "movie, its climax scene is considered yet one of the best in Indian cinema yet.
Hats off to Hrishida.

Casbalnca is Nice.....
I had heard a lot about "The Laurence of Arabia" but didnt find anything great about it....
"Enemy at the gates" is not a very old Movie but is really great.
"Schindlers List" is also great but i dont think Girls dont like war movies much.....so you can write of all of the above except Casablanca.
