Tutorials are all over the Web, but I find it hard to create my own art work. Going through each tutorial and memorizing the techniques are way too overwhelming. I don't want to spend time to take classes and I read very slow. So please advise if you have an easy way out.

Like Nike. Just do it. Try to find what you want to do. That will stick in your brain without effort.

You dont have to do tutorials on the web. The photoshop itself has its own instructions. Just click the 'Help' tab and click on Photoshop help. They have many Q&A and you can learn how to create your art from here too.

Most community colleges offer classes in Photoshop as part of their photography programs. Take one and get hands on experience.
