If you believe in power animals or animal medicine, having a white wolf running along side your car would mean that the wolf was wanting to help you in some way on your path and give you some wisdom.
Wolves tend to have the below meaning -
"When a lone wolf is spotted in the wilderness it embodies the energy of freedom. When seen in a pack it embodies a sense of community. If wolf appears to you alone or in a pack it is asking you to acquire the same within your own life. In spite of their negative press wolves are actually friendly, social and highly intelligent.
Wolf teaches you to have a balance between the needs your family has of you and the needs you have for yourself. They are totally loyal to the pack but do not give up their identity to the pack. If wolf appears in your life you are being asked to look at where you are being too dependent and where you may be too independent. In both family and community there needs to be a balance. "

If you believe in omens then it means good fortune. Since it was white and was either running with your car or at some degree within apporximity to you. It could also mean a protector of sorts, like a Angel! If you dont believe in omens it means you just saw a wolf while driving! Maybe off road~

It could mean several things:
White is usually seen as a color of the Divine or of belonging to the "Everything"
Wolves are common totem animals, usually seen as the predator in a predator/prey setting.
The fact that it was running so close could just be that it needed you to see it. One thing you might want to look at is what direction was it running to/from as this can also be of importance. You might want to do some research on your own to figure out just what this was to mean to you.

I believe it means you live near the Arctic Circle.
Otherwise, it was most likely a dog, not a wolf.
According to superstition in England, if you see a white dog, you should stay silent until you see a white horse.

it could mean lots of things, someone called the wolf. the wolf was trying to catch something to eat, or the wolf was running to find a place to doodoo ! other than that it don't mean crap.

It could mean your alert and didnt run it over.
It could mean you have been smokin to much wacky tabacy
or maybe just a wierd dream.
