I truly hate horror films, not because I think they are poorly made of anything like that but purely because I'm a complete wuss LOL
They scare the living s**t out of me, even if nothing is happening I sit there waiting to be scared.
The music in horror films is scary too, especially in The Exorcist!1 usually the music builds up and at the peak something scary happens but with The Exorcist nothing happens and then about 3 seconds after she starts projectile vommiting or reverse crabbing down a bloody staircase !!!!
Recently the only horror film I've actually sat through all the way is Hostel because even though it was pretty gross it is still a very good and an entirely believable horror film so I'd have to say that is my favourite.
I used to watch all the zombie films when I was a kid and even though I pretended to like them around my friends inside I was completely petrified and I used to run home as fast as I possibly could after a night of zombie hell.
Mind you does the film Bad Taste count as a horror? I love that film but I think it's more of a comedy. Peter Jacksons greatest creation.

"Exorcist the Begining"- What!!!!
I dont know to be honest i actually liked that movie alot ...Normally i never do get scared for movies but this one actually scared me a bit cause i was watching it alone i started at 7.00PM and ended at arround 9.00PM hehe and it was quite good..like the part in the church at the last bit where it is the flare off and the battle between good and evil races...O yeah..
Why i like it because maybe it does have a bit of truth in it..No i know it is not like The Exorcism Of Emily Rose which is based on a true story...This one has a bit of truth because there really is something called possesion in the world unlike all the other movies which you just see some dumb mass murderer coming and killing all the people in the movie leaving the main actor/actress to cry her heart out leaving her or him as the only soul survivor lol..
So yeah it was a good movie i liked it....

I would say Poltergeist because I remember watching it as a child and it gave me many sleepless nights. The atmosphere and story line of the film even scares me today. And it was made by Steven Spielberg who is one of the best Directors in the world.

Uncut is a version of a movie that could want to were to a lot IE (offensive or photo) for theatrical view and also extends or replaces an element you probably did not see in theaters. Ex. theatrical scene is a action superstar throws a grenade at someone and it blows up. Uncut version exhibits the guy being blown up and seeing the enemy vaporize. Or in a "sex" scene, theater version you do not see some form of nudity. Uncut you spot boobies or some adult adult males penis.

Halloween. It set the blueprint for the modern horror movie. But what makes it great it relies mainly on mood and atmosphere and not blood and gore.

The Exorcist! When I first saw it I was about ten and I fancied Reagan. Also the use of Tubular Bells in the soundtrack really added to the atmosphere.
