MY car is goes from 0 to 60 in about a 4 seconds and goes so fast that I can actually travel backwards in time by the time it gets to fifth gear...
I can head the o-zone layer groaning everytime the engine roars to life
grrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrr..
Compared to my beast of a machine, nothing else is really a car: more of a pony with wheels

A car is a Noun and according too the Encyclopedia Britannica it is a vehicle that moves on wheels using some sort of engine. I hope this answers your question.

With today's prices and fuel costs I'd say a house on wheels! I'd also say it is a lifestyle because you can see a specific personality driving certain vehicles i.e. a BMW 325i. That is why I love seeing a prof or hyper intelligent person driving a YUGO (My +physics prof in college) or a cheap & fuel efficient car without regard of its look or attached socioeconomic status.

A car is a device made by man that gets us from one place to another faster then walking. If not used correctly it can cause problems if used correctly it can make things happen. Most people do not know what a car is I would guess.
