how you felt after reading the entire book of Penguin Classics?

Wow !!!!! Great book !!!!!!! I saw a film first and after that I read it.When I was reading it I felt like a friend of the Count and wanted to say to him that so much money don't have to be spent lead by anger and revenge.The entire book is the best.

I loved The Count of Monte Cristo. Definitely one of my favorite books of all time.

It definetly is one of Dumas's best - and I'm kind of a fan! No film version will ever come close to it. The book left a somewhat cloudy and adventuresomely feeling in my head when I had finished it!
Stephen Fry has written a modern day version of the book - by far less haunting, but interesting:

It scared me simply because of the number of chapters, I read it when I was 14. Never thought I could wade through that pile of pages. But, I got hooked.... I'm 57 now, going to find a copy of my own and re-read it. Thank you for re-kindling a great memory...

ohhhh mannn..... Did u ask tht whether we read it or not..?
Com on man i studied it............ i know tht wholebook by heart.. I think it was the longest chapter i have ever seen .... the colour of the book was Green and on the front there was a picture of the count when he finds gold....Its really AMAZING...... was around 13 or 14 whn i read it 1st time .....I scored 93 % in this topic dude..

Yes. It is the ultimate revenge story. I was emotionally spent after I read it in three different languages.
