i think he is right i dont beleive the fa has been level with man. u. or rooney and i dont think it was a 3 match ban, one match yes, not 3, he clearly was looking at the ball.

I disagree with Rooney's response, whatever the foul and whatever the punishment given, players must respect their governing bodies authority. Take the cricket incident yesterday, the match had to be abandoned and awarded to England otherwise you would be setting a precident for the future whereby the officals can be overruled by the players. The same goes for Rooney, he is not bigger than the game and has to follow the rules. He can appeal but if that appeal is lost then accept it. Take the ban and come back more experienced because of it.

Yes i agree with you Rooney didn't deserve a 3 match ban. The FA have been very harsh on him and yes he was looking at the ball and and it was really an accidental foul. Hopefully after this ban and the International ban Rooney is serving he will be allowed to show his true class. Even when Rooney's foot was broken they put him under big pressure. He is such a young player who gets slated for every little mistake he makes. It really is unfair on Rooney.

If you think back 2 seasons ago in the same tournament Steven Gerrard and Neil Mellor were both sent off and niether of them recieved any ban so why should Wayne Rooney considering he shouldnt have been sent off in the first place.

i think he's doing the right thing. he's given his all to england everytime he plays for them n this is not the type of appreciative gesture that he expects from the f.a. a 1 match ban would have sufficed n kept everyone including fergie happy.

The fact of the matter is he didnt deserve that ban. In similar situations players didnt recieve any ban.
