Here i am again, Lime wire help plz.?

Thanks all for those that did answer, but obviously i didnt realize that i needed to be more informative. Basically, because of all the songs that my son as downloaded, my pc is slightly confused, what i mean by this is that when i log on, and go on line, everything meaning differant windows flash up and slightly freeze.
Im thinking it must be all these songs that have been downloaded.
I now need to know what i can do please, i hope that i have clarified more on this topic. Thanks peeps a lot.

Boot your computer in safe mode by pressing and holding the F8 button and using the arrow keys to select. Run Ad-Aware to scan your computer for spyware.

Hi, it sounds like your computer is infested with spyware !

This is normal if your son is downloading stuff from limewire, don't worry it's not serious.

Step 1. Download Spybot - search and Destroy (you can easily find it with a search on google)

Step 2. Install, download newest definitions, run the program and fix all the problems it finds.

Step 3. Download AdAware SE Personal ( Again, a simple google search will find it).

Step 4. Install, download newest definitions and run the program, deleting all the threats it detects.

Step 5. Reboot the computer and all should be fine !

there are three possibilities:
1. You have set Limewire to begin downloading on Start Up but there are so many downloads queued and looking for sources that it's slowing down your machine
2. You have downloaded too many files and have filled up your hard drive (a bit unlikely unless you have a very small one say 20-30GB)
3. You have downloaded a virus, if you have you should get an anti-virus for your PC, you'll have to buy these and update them daily, good luck x

Limewire is notorious for spyware. Probably he has down loaded some iffy content and your machine is now infected with either spyware or a virus. Run AdAware-se or SpyBot to try and ascertain what the problem is. When you are satisfied that no spyware is affecting your machine do a full virus scan.

If you are saying that different windows pop up and then freeze you may have a virus. Download a free anti virus program and scan your computer.

If your computer just freezes when you start limewire try restarting your computer and then starting limewire without starting anything else, Limewire can take up a lot of memory.

Sounds like you've accidentally downloaded some viral programs/adaware/spyware. You need to do a full check of your system. I have Norton and that doesn't seem to fix everything. The yahoo scanner is very good.

It's probably not so much the songs he's downloaded but the adware and spyware that's come along with it. May have a virus or trojan along in there too. Ya need to get it all disinfected luv!

both there is a few connection mistakes to the internet or you at the prompt are not searching good or you've the older version of limewire.also make sure that limewire is linked to varied networks via starting the document menu & clicking on connect. If it nevertheless would not artwork then heaven help you in the different case get iMESH or Shareaza.

Sad news: Limewire is junk. As with most p2p programs, it comes bundled with spyware and adware. Uninstall, get a good adware/spyware remover and clean your system. It's the junk that is "confusing" your system. Good luck.
