Well - if I have understood my bible correctly (and I am an athiest by the way) Adam and Eve were meant to eat from the tree of knowledge - because their job was to populate the earth, whch they could not do until they had the knowledge of reproduction. They got this from eating the fruit. God can forsee the future, and knew Satan was out to ruin his creation, so he very cunningly double-crossed him by getting Satan to offer the temptation therefore allowing Sin to enter the world, and with it the ability to have children and death - all of which is necessary for the grand master plan of achieving an eternal body. it's very clever when you lookinto it in depth.
God's greatest mistake, I would say from reading the bible, is Noah's flood. In the book of Genesis, it states that he promised to never again bring such destruction to the Earth, which to me sounds like remorse - and therefore is somethign he regrets doing.
Obviously that's the serious answer for you religious lot out there. I think this was asked in a more light hearted way, so I would have to say Fleas. What is the point of them?

In my opinion that since God in truth does not make mistake , then everything happens for a reason. All I have read so far is just the status of agony that humanity had endured on the surface but not the problems that lies beneath. If it was me, I would have said that The very existence of Humanity was a mistake but I would be contradicted that Humans have compassion and that justifies that despite our black sheeps we also have beautiful people like Mother Theressa. So It would be a mistake for me to say that God made a mistake. Its not God who makes the mistakes but each and everyone individual of all humanity that makes the mistake. God gave us a choice and sometimes we just make the wrong ones. So the suffering of the world is not God's mistake, it was ours. Our ignorance led to the hole in the ozone layer. Our ignorance that caused poverty. So in my opinion God did no wrong its humanity that made the grave mistake.

A classic get mutually of this concern is the not so present day incident that in contact someone i respect and the poor mistake that he made even as contained in the Oval workplace is that of former President bill Clinton. After the standard public admission and apology with reference to the Monica affair, my appreciate and opinion of him in no way replaced. because the time he left the White living house, bill were given himself targeted on a lot of humanitarian motives or perhaps with his frail heart concern persevered to rally human beings for charitable projects global. very last year on my own he made a cool 7 million USD from talking engagements it really is evidence sufficient how properly he's taken and revered.

God's great mistake was coming back to work on Monday after his day of rest. Surely an all knowing God would realise what a potential disaster he created - meaning people of course. If I were him I would have pulled a sickie that Monday and maybe the spotty work experience kid would have dropped coffee on creation or accidentally put it through the shredder.
Would have saved a lot of bother.

That whole thing with the humanity/free will project. I mean, you put 'em in the garden, everything's cool, then you tell them, don't eat the fruit that's handily within your reach. I mean, what do you think they were going to do? It's like showing a child where the key to the gun cabinet is and saying 'but you mustn't ever go in there, that'd be really bad.' Then you leave him in the house alone with nothing to do... you know that when you get back there're going to be bullet holes in everything. What I'm saying is, it's pretty bloody minded of god. Sort of, okay, I want you to be good, but I'll give you the power to do evil, now sort yourself out- what's that about?

The Alphabet of Ben Sira Midrash identifies a third wife, created after Lilith deserted Adam, but before Eve. This woman was created from nothing at all; God created into being a skeleton, then organs, and then flesh. Adam saw her as "full of blood and secretions," suggesting that he witnessed her creation and was horrified at seeing a body from the inside out.
Edit: Wow -- some of you users are dense. Lighten up! Your god will forgive you for musing about the contents of a fictional book that's mentioned in a sci-fi/comedy story.

There is nothing as mistake, all that is created by God is for some purpose all we need to do is start reasoning out things. Whether it is a handicapped child or a mentally challenged person, if u notice there is something else something special gifted them thats how it is and then u can't call it a mistake, there are many such examples that we may see and all that we understand is, there is a reason for everything.
