No, seriously. I'm a rapper and DJ myself, i did shows for over 15.000 people in four continents, but never i use words like f*%k, b*#ch etcetera. Also my topics are never sex-related, and contain no useless violence. How can a guy like 50 be so popular? Do people nowadays just look at the muscles? This guy will go straight to the lower regions of the spirit world when he dies ('hell' for Christians). So why does everyone like him? His music isn't art, it's like tagging over a Van Gogh...

I for one have to blame the music industry for trying to spell out downloading and freedom of choice. That's part of the reason why music sucks so darn bad these days. I don't even listen to radio anymore unless it's classic rock, symphonic music, sports/talk radio, or classic soul/R&B. They market what they want to be mass appeal so they can control how we spend our dollars. And any artist that doesn't comform to their wants, they cut them out (see DeAngelo, etc.) That's why I yearn for the days of a Tribe Called Quest (they are back together!!!!), De La Soul, etc., rap music that had a meaningful sound to it and that was positive. It drives me insane that people don't have any idea who Jurassic 5, the Roots, Blackalicious, GLUE, Dilated Peoples, mf DOOM, Danger Mouse, Doctor Octagon are just because they can't get the marketing to be successful. But then again a lot of those groups aren't about making money either..LOL. But that just doesn't go for rap, it goes for pop/rock music as well. Most stuff is just crap on mainstream. What shocks me more is how intelligent 50 Cent is, I remember him being interviewed on Leno once and I nearly lost my mind. It was like I was seeing two different people at the same time. I guess selling out is the thing to do if you have to make money. Yeah, but some rappers are empty headed. They do what is best to earn the money and get what they want...Life in the fast lane. And that's fine for them I guess, but I won't be buying any of their CD's. I listen to what consciously is good for my mind, heart, and soul.

Yes. It is very sad that they must resort to the "f" and "b" words, etcetera, and SEX, Oh My! Yeah, we mostly just look at the muscles...lol. Over 50? Who's that? Eww...Flava? ewwwww!
