Hey man,
no hibernation is not bad at all. It is basically putting your screen off to a blank and gives your computer a rest. The Ram is usually still active and that means if you have left a program open in your screen and hibernated your computer the program will still remain active when u turn the computer on again,.
hope it helps.

my 2 cents fairly worth, its more desirable helpful to prepare it off the right way. yet seem on correct of issues panel- skill concepts. some machines do have problems with hybernation, and it does use room on your hard drive.

NO, IT'S ACTUALLY GOOD. IF YOU INTEND TO LEAVE IT LIKE THAT FOR A WHILE, THEN HYBERNATION STORES AND SAVES ALL YOUR SETTINGS AND FILES AND STUFF LIKE THAT WITH MUCH BETTER PROTECTION. SO EVERYTHING WILL BE THE SAME JUST AS YOU LEFT IT.

It shouldn't do any harm, as long as you charge it regularly. I'd advise you reboot it at least once a week though to run any updates and clear the memory.
