tell whether the formula shows correctly the relationships among perimeter, length, and width of a rectangle.
l=length w=width P=perimeter *=times or multiply \=division or divide -=minus or subtraction +=add

help me with these please
1)P=2l+2w
2)P=1+w*2
3)l=P-2w\2
6)l=P\2w-2
7)w=P\2-2

The first one is correct. If you can rearrange that equation into another (by doing the same thing to both sides, like subtracting P from both sides of the equation), then the other equation is correct as well.

For example, equation #2 is only correct if l=.5, so that's not a true statement.

1 is correct
3 is correct

Don't think the others are. The best way of proving these formulae is to use actual numbers.
So if you have w = 3, l= 4 giving P=14 it is easy to work out if formulae are correct.

1: correct, standard formula for perimeter
2: wrong, doesn't account for length
3: if it's (P-2w)/2, then it's correct, but without the parentheses (or P-2w in the numerator), the order of operations screws this one up, so it's wrong
6: wrong, bad algebra since you don't divide by 2w at any point
7: wrong...just wrong.

I donot know if it ans your Question

If you want to find P if you know L and W then P= 2L+2W.

If you want to find W if you know L and P then W= P - 2L / 2

If you want to find L If you know W and P Then L = P - 2W / 2

2, 6 , 7 are false 1 and 3 are true
