Luck, either good or bad is the construct of the weak mind.
Probability is not a force. It doesn't favor one person or disfavor another.
If you believe in supernatural beings, and believe they have some say in the outcome of your life or events, that still isn't luck. That is manipulation of probability, the removal of chance, therefore the removal of luck good or bad.
Superstition was founded by people of limited mental capacity. Fear full of things they didn't understand. In parts of the world, black cats are considered good luck.
Believing in luck also removes culpability for ones actions. Blame it on bad luck instead of poor planing, seems to be in fashion these days.
So, again, never.

It is just a superstition. Tell you the truth, luck is a very loose word. Sometimes something bad could be in your favor as it will help you do something or avoid another thing. Sometimes something good will cover something bad that is about to happen. So superstition is not really valid because it could lead to things you think will be good but it is actually bad. Do you understand?

When you are crossing the street and get hit by a car for paying more attention to the cat then the oncoming car. Or the driver of the car swerves to miss the black cat and hits you instead.
