Per month sal depends on the Persons ability to "earn". If u r smart then get a posting in trafic dept where u make atleast a few hndreds a day.

polie constables usualy gets..7-10,000 per month....but they are gtting many things in additinal -
No transpotation cost..as they sually travel fo free..if they are using public transport..
bribe money can be in the rang of 10-30,000 per month ..depnds upon the area where he was serving....
if u talk abot the honest police constable earning- then its only 6-8,000 and they can't even manage to save 1,000 bugs per month.....

averagte sal might be less but think of the cream they might be getting, they wont earn anyless than 15-20k per month. this is common in india, and world wide takin bribe.
and if you are in police dep, then nothing to say.
