Yes, I'm afraid so. I grew up in Florida and drove over bridges all my life with no problem. One day back in '97 I was driving from TX to FL and noticed I was becoming uncomfortable on the bridges, it has progressed to the point where I can hardly drive in the city and when I take a trip I actually plan it around avoiding bridges. I have to admit it's one of the worst things i"ve ever had to deal with. It sucks big time!

YES I used to have lots of bad dreams about the bridge collapsing and me trying to get out of my truck and drowning. I hate those long water bridges in Louisiana, Alabama and Florida. The Mississippi is high up. I am so tense and worried. I don't look down. Watch my speed and say Thank God when I get off any bridge.

Two of my biggest fears in life are heights and water. So yes, definately I am terrified of bridges. I have a hard time walking across a small bridge that's over a creek on a hiking trail. I have to close my eyes and be pulled across by my husband. I really, really hate bridges.

Not really afraid, but l do feel uncomfortabe, especially on long ones, once crossed the Forth rail bridge by train, when youlook out the window you look straight down onto the water, didn't like that.

YES YES YES.....when I first get on a bridge I'm ok ..but if the bridge is long....I begin to sweat and panic...trying to tell myself "it won't be long" and you will be on the other side. I hate it when someone tailgates me too on the bridge it makes my blood pressure rise....just thinking of it....makes...meeeee nerrrrvousssss...lol

No, never have been. My mom is afraid of the slotted ones because she thinks they will crack and break when she drives over them. So we always pull over if she is driving and someone else drives across. weird
