Life is like a coin. Pleasure & Pain are the two sides. Only one side is visible at a time. But remember, the other side is also there.
When i think the two sides of coin, i remember the above words.
I don't know correct reason, why the coin has two sides? I think it want to represent one side for how much does it cost (value) & other side is for which country it belongs too.Try at below site:

Yes. Head and tail. It is a natural law. Every natural phenomena has two sides to it: obverse and reverse,light and dark,day and night,hot and cool, and so on. Wait a minute...If you look at the question more critically I can say a coin has three sides. Besides head and tail it has also a third side which is a circular rim representing the thickness of coin.
