i was on there myspace page last night and boy was there "hate mail comments" also alot of love for them but it got me thinking? hmm what did they do? lol its driveing me nuts and when did this happen sorry i must be liveing in a cage i swear lol

hmm i love there music yet im pro bush! tho a part of me hates some of his views on stuff.........one reason i suport him is hes anti gays! NO ON GAY MARRIAGES!

They got really political and became very anti-bush, and anti-war and alot of people think they disrespected the country. They kinda are seen now like Jane Fonda during the vietnam war.

They weren't snubbed. there have been only more beneficial effectual performers and albums this 12 months. do not study any more beneficial into it. "Taking the lengthy way" is an effective, yet not great, album. Diamond Rio, Carrie Underwood, Little huge city, Brooks & Dunn, Lonestar and Rascal Flatts all had more beneficial effectual albums and songs this 12 months. for sure, the ACM has also "snubbed" The Bellamy Brothers, Shania Twain (till 2000), and Conway Twitty (solo). The Dixie Chicks have already got 10 CMA awards and are the first united states-rooted act in Grammy heritage to acquire 3 Album of the 12 months nominations. on the 40 9th Grammy Awards educate in 2007, they received all 5 categories for which they were nominated, mutually with the coveted music, record, and Album of the 12 months. i'm particular they are not dropping any sleep over the CMA awards. i'm for sure interior the minority. I pay interest to song because i like it, not because I care about the political evaluations of the performers. i like Charlie Daniels song, too. i do not care that he's a rabid Bush supporter. i do not recognize how people can nevertheless be so enraged about a remark made 4 years in the past via an entertainer about a President, yet ignore a remark made 4 days in the past via an entertainer about a former Senator. I don't think most people do...their newest CD was #1 for several weeks on the country and pop charts. Some peeople are still mad about what Natalie said....the whole thing about hating them is so stupid!

I have Loved them since I went to the Chili Cook Off in 1999 in Fort Lauderdale. I never heard of them and I thought they were just a new warm up band.
THEY ARE all very talented musicians AND Singers.
Their Harmony is beyond belief.
their politics is their biz......
