Crucifixion was the standard Roman punishment for insurrection/rebellion/revolution
...it is not unlikely that women were crucified.

Yes it was a common punishment in Rome, so 1000's at least. Spartacus, a slave who led a rebellion, was killed with his followers. someone else mentioned it already. so 100s already right there. they lined the highway.
