I have heard of waitrers/sses spitting in people's cappuchino if the customers were nasty to the waitress/waiter. You would never be able to analyse the food, people in kitchens are always sneezing and germs are are bound to get into your food. They are supposed to wash their hands after going to the loo but plenty don't anmd then they handfle your food. The health department will only pick up health problems ie rats/mice/cockroaches or filthy kitchens. If you eat out a lot you are probably immune to most germs. The moral of the story is be nice to your waiter/ess.

If people just read the menu, and quit asking dumb questions, and quit being rude, then they would not spit in your food. I work in fast food, and I have heard horror stories about things that people do in the restaurant industry. These stories dealt with five star restaurants and fast food places. It does not matter where you go, people could possibly spit in your food.

I would definitely lodge a complaint to the restaurant. It would be hard to prove that spit in your food however. I don't think you'd find a place that could analyze if there was some spit on your food... It would probably cost you more to have it analyzed anyway, than what you would get in return...

I don't think they would spit it your food for no reason. don't be rude to the staff, and they won't be rude to you.
If someone is rude to you without provication, speak to the manager on duty.
Yes some nasty things can happen in a restaurant (i have seen those "caught on tape" tv shows), but I am willing to bet that someone, somewhere, might see something that you do as "nasty".
If you get food that is questionable, again contact a manager.

All of the above - I would want to beat the living crap out of someone who did that in my food. Yes - I would probably sue the chain AND the person who did it. The food inspectors would definitely be hot-footing it in there to see what else is wrong with the place.
In all seriousness....if you suspect something - report it!

I worked at McDonald's for about 2 months. even even with the undeniable fact that i do not usually eat there, this is not because of my journey there... it really is in ordinary words a poor interest with fattening, undesirable foodstuff and extremely obnoxious shoppers. My first day there, I had no concept what i became doing and my coach went away to flow to the lavatory. i did not understand the position something became on the contact-reveal that we use to take the orders and that i became waiting on an extremely impatient shopper. besides, with out help it took me about 5 minutes to take the guy's order and locate all the products, then even as i ultimately had it executed, there have been some hen nuggets sitting at the position the position we retrieve the foodstuff so i concept they'd be okay to grant to him. incorrect. His "nuggets were chilly" and he swore at me for like 5 minutes demanding new nuggets -- i became freaking out and did not have any concept what to do and that i requested him if I could carry the governmentto search for advice from with him and he stated, "i do not understand, you tell me!" about 5 diverse situations. ultimately, the governmentwent over there and talked to him, he were given new nuggets, and the guy left and each little thing became fantastic, yet nevertheless... the position is brim-complete of obnoxious those who imagine they're God or something because they spent ninety 9 cents on a hamburger and also you're growing paid a penny or 2 to take their order. do not ever artwork at McDonald's. this is totally sparkling (i'd understand with all the situations I were given stuck scrubbing the position down), and the foodstuff is danger-free. it really is a superb position to eat, yet not an excellent position to artwork.

I have worked in restaurants for longer than I would like to admit. I have only seen this happen once and the entire staff rebelled on this one individual and had him fired withing minutes. Restaurant people almost never cook at home and we are among the worst kinds of customers. We know what goes around comes around.

If I caught someone spitting in my food, I'd either kick the sh*t out of em or make em eat food that I "Prepared" for them. Now that I think about it, maybe both!

I would report it to their headquarters since the manager might have been the one that spit in the food to begin with.

My sister was stupid once. She went to this little BBQ stand that sells hot dogs and burgers and chili, things like that. She took a sip from her coke and it tasted like disinfectant. The big goofball threw the thing out. I would have taken it to the health department to have it tested, then sued the crap out of the stand for trying to kill me!
