Don't listen to anyone above. It's fine to wear a striped shirt with a pinstripe suit as long as the stripes are of different proportions. Just make sure not to mix a striped tie with that and you'll be fine.
Trust me, you'll find that same advice at Askmen.com or any decent Men's magazine.

No! When it comes to a striped suit, you have to wear a solid shirt and tie; and vice versa. It's the best advice I can give you.

Sure you can, but i'd be careful about the size of the strips...if your suit has narrow strips then your shirt could have wider ones...if you wear a tie though make it SOLID....

I have a ladies black pinstriped suit that I wear with a white charcoal pinstripe blouse.
