To some degree, I believe this is the case. However, they tend to march to the party line much too often. It makes me sick how the two parties keep pounding away at each other and that seems to become the main focus, instead of the issue at hand, running the nation.
How many times have you seen a vote come before congress and all the democrates vote for it or they all vote against it? Same for the republicans. They can't all think the same via party. It's just plain disgusting to witness.

Well politics today and most every other day is a whoring job. Republicans and Democrats in office today the majority of them are there to make sure they get re-elected to save their jobs. The philosophy of the two parties are very close in the middle and very far apart in the extremes.
Luckily the majority of the Governing party's are moderate and they are very close to each others ideal. They just have to side with their parties to survive to the next elections.
Republicans see the world as helping people to stand on their own to feet.
Democrats see the world as helping people by giving them what they want and making it easier for those people to stay dependent on the government roles for subsistence. In doing so the Politicians can then ask to be re-elected while keeping the people just at survival levels to live on.

The Democrats did no longer hand our united states over is the state of ABYSS to Republicans. I disagree with you. Republicans have not apologized for what they have completed to our united states because of the fact they have self belief that the rich & efficient might desire to only improve into greater so and that the midsection type might desire to chop back into an quite choose few. for somebody that believes that Republicans safeguard the standard ppl then they might desire to take a glance on the final 4 Republican administrations. each physique grew to enhance into poorer, apart from the very richest. Even our united states became into left in a state of disrepair. people who choose for them in are people who're envious that anybody different than them might have a grin on their face and that there is a feeling of loss on the subject of their "experience of privilege".

i do. they are generally working for the same goal of making an effective goverment but they have very different ideas of how to do it. they both believe in democracy, but they want different sorts of laws. so yes i think opposite sides of the same coin is the perfect way to put it

No,
It is too simple a world view to claim that. Both have money involved in politics and i would like to see that change. But overall,
there is no way Dennis Kisnich is the other side of someone like tom delay.
unless your mean light and darkness........then yes.......we are light and they are the darkness.
thank you.
