How to display day of the date in microsoft access using queries?

i want to sort a data on date of creation and then display the day of the date ( tues,wednessday etc)..

You can use the dayoftheweek Function in Access.

it's been a while since i did access, but i'm pretty sure you can format a cell in reports and forms. so use your query within a form. or try format() function.
