Who is the greatest threat to world stability/peace.
Bush's Political Survival Depends on Terror Threats
The president is trying for the third time to make terrorism his big campaign issue -- are Americans going to finally snap out of it?
An evil symbiosis does exist between Muslim terrorists and American politicians, but it is not the one Republicans describe. The jihadists need George W. Bush to sustain their cause. His bloody crusade in the Middle East bolsters their accusation that America is out to destroy Islam. The president has unwittingly made himself the lead recruiter of willing young martyrs.
More to the point, it is equally true that Bush desperately needs the terrorists. They are his last frail hope for political survival. They divert public attention, at least momentarily, from his disastrous war in Iraq and his shameful abuses of the Constitution. The "news" of terror -- whether real or fantasized -- reduces American politics to its most primitive impulses, the realm of fear-and-smear where George Bush is at his best.
So, once again in the run-up to a national election, we are visited with alarming news. A monstrous plot, red alert, high drama playing on all channels and extreme measures taken to tighten security.
The White House men wear grave faces, but they cannot hide their delight. It's another chance for Bush to protect us from those aliens with funny names.
This has worked twice before. It could work again this fall unless gullible Americans snap out of it. Wake up, folks, and recognize how stupid and wimpish you look. I wrote the following two years ago during a similar episode of red alerts: "Bush's 'war on terrorism' is a political slogan -- not a coherent strategy for national defense -- and it succeeds brillantly only as politics. For everything else, it is quite illogical." . Here is who affects world peace

George Bush!
Hell, he attacked a nation that had nothing to do with 9/11! His selection process sucks! And illigal!
And where is Osama!!!
"So I don't know where he is. You know, I just don't spend that much time on him... We haven't heard much from him. And I wouldn't necessarily say he's at the center of any command structure. And, again, I don't know where he is. I- I'll repeat what I said. I truly am not that concerned about him."
—Bush, answering a question about Osama bin Laden at a March 13, 2002 news conference.

In one of his audiotape which was released on January 19th 2005, Osama ben Laden had declared: "If you [Americans] are sincere in your desire for peace and security, we have answered you. And if Bush decides to carry on with his lies and oppression, then it would be useful for you to read
the book _Rogue State', which states in its introduction ... " He then goes on to quote the opening of a paragraph (which appears actually in the Foreword of the British edition only, that was later translated to Arabic), which in full reads:
"If I were the president, I could stop terrorist attacks against the United States in a few days. Permanently. I would first apologize -- very publicly and very sincerely -- to all the widows and the orphans, the impoverished and the tortured, and all the many millions of other victims of American imperialism.
I would then announce that America’s global interventions -- including the awful bombings -- have come to an end. And I would inform Israel that it is no longer the 51st state of the union but -– oddly enough -– a foreign country. I would then reduce the military budget by at least 90% and use the savings to pay reparations to the victims and repair the damage from the many American bombings and invasions. There would be more than enough money. Do you know what one year of the US military budget is equal to? One year. It’s equal to more than $20,000 per hour for every hour since Jesus Christ was born.
"That’s what I’d do on my first three days in the White House. On the fourth day, I’d be assassinated."

Bin Laden declared Jihad against the USA in 1996. This was well before Bush was president. In fact, Clinton was president at the time.
Bin Laden's declaration of war was prompted due to his intolerance of American forces on the Arabian Peninsula.
Those forces were there at the request of the Kingdom due to the invasion of Kuwait by Iraq.
Many, including Bin Laden, felt that Saddam would invade Saudi Arabia.
Bush did not create Bin Laden. Bin Laden is by far the most dangerous.

Obviously GWB. He can either sit back and allow terrorism to destroy our economy and kill thousands if not millions around the world. Lest we forget Iran is a terrorist supporting country. Or he can defend America's freedom's and thus protecting our economy my stomping out terrorist wildfires as they breakout and or try to emerge as a pertinent threat to our way of life. If Iran get's a nuke it will eventually lead to the real WW III. Their president has stated that it is his purpose to facilitate the return of Allah and to start the true Jihad against the infidel's. Osama is merely a figure head of a rogue terrorist organization. Though from what he has started Iran may complete Osama's original goal of Jihad. If Iran tried to smuggle 20 nukes into America how many do you think we could actually catch. In effect GWB is the biggest threat to the world. Especially if he does nothing to stop the growth of terrorist nations and their upcoming nuclear proliferation. That is my honest opinion.

Well i see that events after 9/11 have not changed the minds of the Bush haters. As they are hating the man who is in office to protect their little shiny butts.
First of all, who was it that orchestrated the attack on the USA soil and killed over 5,000 Innocent people with out any warning at all. Who was it responsible for taking Innocent families and burning them to the ground.
Who was it that nearly destroyed the economy of the United States by attacking the financial district of the world. I am not sure if people realize how close the economics of the country came to collapsing. It was all done by one man leading a group of radical terrorists , a lunatic call Osama Bin Ladin.
He has actually declared war on the Children of the USA and all the world of Infidels. He and his brothers in arms are responsible for undermining the diplomacy working of peace in the world.
He has shown that peace is not free and it has to be fought for and to punished the terrorists on their home ground.
So to answer your question Osama Bin Laden and his Islamic followers are the BIGGEST theat to world peace. Just remember we had peace before you OBL sent four planes full of innocent people to their deaths here in the USA.
When George Bush is gone and you have your Democratic President in office and Osama and his followers are still killing people all over the world because of this declared Holy War, who will you blame?
God people wake up ..... radical Islamic terrorists are your enemy, not George Bush.
I know most of you small thinkers love to Bash Bush and because he actually took steps to stop the terrorist in their tracks. He has taken steps to protect the soil of the Land many of you live in from being terrorized again.

i would argue niether as they are both just men.
whereas thier followers and thier mind sets are the real danger.
for example if osamsa is killed or caught...which by the way we should demand from our governement right?....if osama is killed there will be someone to replace him, the biggest threat is the causes for his followers to agree and follow orders.....ideas are th problem.............
Even with Bush if he was to be impeached and out of the office, Cheney and his ideas and thinking and greed will continue the same, same world plan for controlling the oil, still continuning the ideas of the american empire................
it is the same world view that violence and war will create peace instead of more violence.............wars never solve anything for everyone.......as ww2 ended facism but not the poverty of the third world.....which then was the battlegrounds in the cold war.......
it is thinking diffrently that is the solution......
