how come my ipod is doing this?

I have a video ipod and i have about 810 songs on it. I also have a picture of each song on there for every artist. But just recently on my itunes eveything seems fine and the pictures match up with the artist but on the actual ipod theyre all mixed up how can i get it to match up on my ipod? Also everytime i open itunes like ten songs that have always been there and working all the sudden cant find files! what is going on with my itunes thanks

if it's still in warranty, go to the shop where you bought it...
consider the worst if something wrong with the hardware, in this case is the memory
