I was waiting to add details until initial answers were given.
I just find it humerous that people are outraged about the wire tapping thing. Honestly, if someone listens into me talking to my mom over the phone about my son I don't care. If it means that I'm not going to be blown up the next time I take the subway, or fly somewhere they can listen to me ALL they want.
It seems to me that the only ones who should be upset are the ones that have something to hide.

Hey Devil, Thomas Jefferson never had to worry about getting blown up at 30,000 feet.

Not to mention that our consitution is a living thing. It evolves as times change. Remember Thomas Jefferson was down with the whole slavery thing. Got any quotes about that?

Not sure why you are asking this, but my safety is most important to me. If my safety is at stake, I will give up my privacy within a heartbeat.

safety first. Because if you look for safety then privacy automatically comes, but the other way it is difficult

It depends on what I am doing at the time. For example:
When bungie jumping: safety
When trying to sleep: privacy

I will not compromise 'safety' for 'privacy'. Without safety, who knows there might not be privacy anymore!

Benjamin Franklen-Quote.

If you give up a little bit of freedom for security, then you deserve neither the freedom nor the security.

My safety, but why can't we have both? There is nothing to prevent us from having both, except of course...
