As good as 'Goodfellas' was, it was another mob movie. Scarface was completely unique, in that no one had ever seen gangsters like that portrayed on the screen.

I LOVE SCARFACE!!!!!!!!!!! but I think Goodfellas is the best mob movie!!
Actually... Scarface isn't original/ unique... Its a remake of the 1932 Scarface film!!

I have seen Scarface several times and I think it was an OK movie but hardly great. Pacino played many better roles in his career.

i really in all seriousness hated scarface, i mean the idea he died of his morals is a good ending how he could dive into this world of wrong and still hold some sort of morality is good but seriously i laugh at the whole movie
