It depends on your definition. In a fundamentalist sense, given that the Vatican is not a real country, but a remnant of a former Empire that has no birthrate and is merely a religio-political convenience, the most overtly religious country was Afghanistan, before US/UN interference. It's probably Saudi Arabia today. Religious countries tend to be extremely retarded. The most religious Christian countries are probably Samoa & Tonga where you may not do anything on Sunday except go to church. In both these places you are not allowed to make noise on a Sunday and all shops and businesses are shut.

Vatican State....of course would be the obvious choice.... i believe it also still runs all government documentation and business in latin..which is quite a challenge in the 21st century
