I am looking for a song, and i need the title and artist?

was done back in the 80s and was originally done in french I believe, then put into english and the song goes something like this.... 1, 2, 3, 4, earth below me, sky around me? It talks about ground control but I know it is not done by Bowie. Any help would be great
