NO just put them in a box on a shelf. That way they won't get dirty! LOL

Considering there are people out there that wear $300-$1000 dollar shoes everyday I see no reason not to wear them. However if you are in fact a student you run the risk of having those shoes stolen off your feet since $175 is alot of money to a kid.
Your only other opinion is to put them back in the box, wait 10 years, and then sell them to a collector for 3x what you paid if not more.
PS
If you really do value those shoes you can save them for events where you know you won't scuff or dirty them. Odds are they will get ****** up at school. IMO Jordans were meant to get ****** up on a blacktop or hardwood but that's me.

just the fact that you are still in school is a good reason to spend 175 bucks on something other than shoes. but too late now. what else can you do with shoes, genius?

I guess that depends on the school. Will people try to steal them off your feet? If so, I wouldn't wear them. Of course, I've never understood why people buy such expensive things that they never end up using.

Well if you are going to pay $175 for a pair of tennis shoes I would hope that you would wear them.

if you are one cautious dude, don't. Otherwise, show it off. Not everyone i know can splurge that much on a shoe. If i buy a ferrari, i wouldn't keep it in the garage ;)
