I m supposed to write a business letter to a person in Finland named Hannu,but since it's correspodence by e-mail,I don't know if it's a man or a woman...please,if you are suomi,help!

Hannu . It's a man's name....(It is the Finnish version of John)
An easy way to find the gender of a name in future is to type in the name into google images..and see the gender of the picture that turn up...

Hannu is Finnish form of Hannus which is the German short form for Johannes. Hannus has been mentioned in Finnish literature as early as 1363 and Hannu is still quite popular name for men. Nameday December 27th.
