i'm, alarmed as we dnt want a child just now.when should i take the test?how long do i wait?

Well you may want to wait several more days, if you are only 2 days late it may have no meaning that you are preggers or not, even if you have had fairly accurate periods, anything can effect that, stress is big factor. I would say if after 5 days it still hasn't arrived then take an at home test.

Well first of all, if you dont want a child you should use protection for the both of you and also you should have thought about that before you did you know what. Being late for your menstrual doesnt always mean you are pregnant, cuz my cycle changes 2x's a year. But in the event you could be, go get the early pregnacy test and take it right away, and also you could go get a blood test done to know for sure, because those pee stick tests dont always work especially if your hormones are already wacked out anyways.

try taking first response. It can detect pregnancy up to 5 days before missed period. If you get a negative then wait 2 weeks and test again. Good luck!

Stress makes you late as well. I'm sure you know that! With mine...I took the test too early...It came up negative after the 1st couple weeks. To be sure...b/c I STILL was late I took another one. sure enough....it was positive!
Usually it will not come out accurate that early (well, it never did for me) until after 3-4 weeks and I can say the same for alot of my friends.

home pregnancy test are more accurate after you are at least 5 days late. you can go to the Dr and get a blood test and that is the most accurate

If your two days late, you could take one now. It might be pretty faint though. Stressing over it alot could also throw your cycle off.
Relax and if it hasnt showed up in 3-4 days, then test.

If you have had sexual intercourse... yes do the test now. An early termination is much less stress full than leaving it till later. Please don't feel pressured into having a child you don't want.

with most pregnancy tests you can take them early as 5 days before your expected period date
