we broke up and after we talked we both admitted we still love each other. but right now we are both unable to commit ourselves to each other. we agreed to be friends until he gets back and then go from there. i am scared that when he gets back, he won't love me anymore. because i will always love him. i will be here for him always. i just need to know where I should go from here.

This question seems like a dejavu..for two reasons: 1. I think I answered something similar to this, 2. I went through the same thing....I was seventeen when we first met...then we separated for 6 years. We got married when I was 25. The years in between, were not years of waiting. I never thought I would see him again. His 2 1/2 years military duty was over. He went home...and we both moved on. Then he started writing me again...and we connected just like when we were younger. Finally I gave him an ultimatum to either leave me alone or marry me. After that he proposed. He called everyday prior to my ultimatum. Can you imagine the phone bills? Hawaii to Germany. I called him only twice. I was taught to play hard to get....when it comes to men. It worked! I am married to my first love. We have two gorgeous kids now.....
If you guys are destined for each other....you will get together again. For now let go...and live your life.

He is going to meet tons of girls in the military. They are from all over the US - a lot of variety. They will be different than the girls "back home".
I know from experience - I was in the military years ago. Many people break up after they have been away from their boyfriend or girlfriend back home. The world is open to the military person - new people!
On the other hand - I've seen a lot of people feel guilty and marry their "back home" lover - because they dont' want to leave them stuck in a small town.
Leave yourself options. You might find yourself single.

i dont think it's ever good to keep feelings locked inside. you should tell him how you feel. if he said that he still loves you too, chances are he's feeling the exact same way you are right now. if you guys were serious enough that you both have said that you love each other, then it should be easy enough for you to talk to him openly. don't let him leave without knowing how you truly feel. you'll wish you had told him.

U like me!!! my bf had been in UK 3 months now passed a month already!!! i have to wait him another 2 months!!! it's very hard to wait but he call me every day and chat on MSN often...We promised will not change we hearts have to strong!!! I can wait me me cause trush!!! He worry i'll have other and I worry he might not back if got a good job!!!...I very worry but I love him that y I can't wait!!!
