Well I'm under 15 I exercise six days a week. I eat a balanced diet (fruits n' veggies), no fizzy drinks, no chcolates, no chips, no oily or fried foods. I have clean dandruff free hair which is ALWAYS tied back. However I still get zits and washing my face three times a day with odinary unsented soap dosn't work. Currently I use neutrogena oil free acne wash and their multi-vitamin thing morning and night their black head removing mask twice a week and clean and clear deep cleansing mask once a week and in the evening I wash my face with a clean and clear anti-acne bar. I'd like to loose my acne quicker before school starts I don't expect to loose it all but I hope to at least make it less visible. My school dosn't allow make up of any kind. My older sis got rid of her acne at 24 and I can't wait that long. No urine crap. Serious ans only please.
thx.

Yes I'm quite aware that what you eat dosn't effect acne but to make my skin alot better otherwise. I've tried clearasil before this and after 7 months it stopped working. So right now I'm just taking a break from it.

Dry and/or greasy skin due to poor oil composition of the skin. Thick greasy oils clog pores, lack of oil leads to dryness and irritation. You need thin oils to moisturize while dissolving and clearing gunk in your poors. Try fish oil or seafood. 2 tsp fish oil a day or 4 servings of seafood a week. Stick it out for at least 2 months; it will take a long time to replace all your oil. Any effect after 1-2 days is temporary or random; so even if it makes you break out a little at first, you haven't given it a full try yet.
In the short term you can wash and moisturize well, but that will only go so far. Plus excessive washing can be drying and excessive moisturizing can be clogging. Use a small amount of a light moisturizer, made with oil not jelly or grease. Often that means soybean oil or mineral oil. Mineral oil means mined from the ground. So soybean oil is usually better, though mineral oil won't cause too much harm. Clean with soap and water, not a harsh acne cleanser. Even then they only work so well. So you really need the seafood.
Antibiotics aren't really good for bacteria long term, they'll come back in force after. Short term they may help. After you get off them find some kefir with acidophilus listed first or 2nd to replace the friendly bacteria they destroyed. Studies show less illness when you have these bacteria, even outside the stomach in places such as the lungs and elsewhere. You want friendly bacteria to fill the void when the antibiotics stop, not harmful ones.
In the short term you might also try 100,000+ iu retinol vitamin A (a megadose, and too much for normal use) or one of the acne drugs that is similar to retinol vitamin A. It's some minor harm to your organs, but it helps against bacteria on your skin. At least it doesn't have the other long term drawbacks to your skin that antibiotics and many scrubs do.
If you would like to learn how to treat your acne permanently and regain your health and wellbeing, without drugs, without typical acne treatments, and without any side effects, then this will be the most important letter you will ever read.

If you’re looking for accurate acne information, best to see a dermatologist. Some people believe doctors are predisposed to take the easy way to deal with acne… prescription drugs. But, with many, this simplistic answer may not be the appropriate course of action. Some feel that such prescription drugs just treat the symposium and not the underlying cause. But, a local dermatologist is still your best starting point.
For me personally, I discovered a great informational acne treatment site. Not only is there good information/articles but I got their audio e-book and following it’s advice can now say that my acne is a thing of the past! Keep in mind, were all different and there are various types of acne, so what works for some may not be totally effective for all.
Bottom line, hang in there, you will get past this! Sincere best wishes and good luck.
Oh, by the way the site that helped me is:

WoW, you certainly have a routine going on!
I always recomend knowing the cause to the problem before you find the solution.
--It seems to me that you need to do a little more research on what factors cause acne and others that don't. For example, your diet (the foods you eat in general) does not exacerbate acne, although I am guessing you might have noticed this since your acne is not going away even with a healthy meal plan. --chocolates, chips, 'fizzy drinks' and fried/oily foods do not contribute to your skin problem.
You seem to have a couple of misconceptions about acne, things that might be making your breakouts even more reocurrent. For a detailed explanation on the myths and facts about ance go here: http://kidshealth.org/parent/general/body/acne_myths.html
-I know you may want to accelerate the process of curing your acne, but unfortunately its not that quick and simple. If possible visit a dermotologist. Meanwhile you may want to try clearasil's tinted cream (it contains10%benzoyl peroxide), this helps cover red imflamed pimples, and its not really make-up so you can wear it to school.

Salt Water Cotton Ball Method THis method really works i do it all the time: So, get some cotton balls and a bowl. And fill the bowl with hot water half way and add salt into it so the salt can dissolve. and then add cold water so the water will become warm, make sure the water is salty becasue the key thing here is the salt. Afterwards you have made salt water. So now get the cotton swab and dip it in. And then put the cotton on ur pimple and leave it on for 5 minutes set a timer or something, It may sting just a tiny bit, but its fine. after 5 mintues you will see the pimple shrinking and starting to disappear. if still there you may need to do it several more times it varies on your pimple. Goodluck! it really does work!

your problem may be that you are over-washing your skin. When the skin is over-scrubbed and over loaded with products it gets even more irritated, which leads to more blemishes and acne. i would say go see a dermatologist and see what he/she has to say. also if you get a really big gigantic zit, it will go away faster if you ice it. i know exactly how you feel. i've had acne for years.

You're using too many products. Also they are too harsh for your face which is causing flare ups. Go see a Dermatologist. They know what they are doing, and can really help. It may be a little expensive, but just think about all the money your wasting on the stuff that doesn't work. At least spending $ for a dermatologist will work for you.

If your sister ended her acne at 24, maybe you will too because it's mostly hereditary. Plus, you can try Proactiv which really works. May take a couple of weeks, but they'll be gone forever

You should speak with a dermatologist. You are overcleaning and your skin may make more oil in response. Twice is good with a gentle anti acne product. Change pillowcase often and watch your hands. Don't stress as that will make it worse.

You're over cleansing. Dermas will only recommend washing your face twice a day. Morning and bedtime. And if it gets too oily during mid-day, wash it with tap water.
But the best is to visit a derma. Some will prescribe you with oral medication and creams to deal with the acne.
