You can easily find out by determining the number of sales which will make both offers equal. Let S be the number of sales:

630+0.18s=1260+0.09s
0.09s=630
s=7000

So at $7000, both offers will be equivalent. Above that amount, Company A, which gives the highest comission ($630 + 18%), will be the more lucrative of the two.

Let x = amount of total sales.

For company A's offer to be better than company B's,
630 +0.18x > 1260 +0.09x

So,
0.18x -0.09x > 1260 -630
0.09x > 630
x > 7000

Therefore, for any total sales amounting to greater $7,000.00, company A's offer is the bettter of the two.
