fairness is defined in psychology as the ability to make decisions that can take all factors into consideration and satisfy everyone as well as posterity. Of course, from this definition alone you can see that it is almost impossible for anyone but God to fully fulfill it.

We can however, fulfill it to the best of our abilities. Fairness can be everything from distributing sweets to children to the giving out of monthly wage bonuses.

Fairness is heavily influenced by one thing: circumstances. Some are there for you to see, some are our own personal biasedness. for example, when distributing sweets, you can give more sweets to the disabled child, and less to the healthy ones. But from another point of view, it may not be fair. It applies to all decisions. from sweet giving to the Lebenon-Israel crisis.

So how to be a fair person? First step is to forget your self. second step is to look to the long run. Giving a sweet more to the disabled child rather than to the oldest will earn you a long friend, while the older child will most likely be able to be talked over or will eventually forget the issue. Third step, and perhaps the most important, is to be mindful of what time dictates. Different times, same conditions, different answers are needed.

If you are a moral person, add this 4th step: listen to your conscience...

Hope that helped...

Fairness is when everyone gets the same chances in life, and there is never any injustice. In my humble opinion this is not possible, human nature being what it is. I suppose the next best thing is justice, which is seldom fair.
To be a fair person is easier. When rating the condition of a car "fair" comes below "good" so by that logic, you don't need to be good to be fair. An even easier option is to bleach your hair. Fair enough?

To be fair, you have to consider all sides of an issue, weigh the pros and cons, and make a judgement that helps the most or hurts the least. To be a fair person, practice the above.
Sorry if that's not long enough for you, that's all I have to say

Being fair means applying the same set of standards to everyone involved (including yourself). Not much more to it than that.
