There are different types of catatonic state (coma) and it progresses in 4 stages, the last being the one from which a person has no change of waking up, this is also the point in which people that are on life support are taken of them since most of the time they don't have any brain activity. in small children this state can appear because of extremely low sugar level in their blood. drugs such as amphetamines can also induce coma. an accident or a severe injury, severe temperature can also cause coma.

There are multiple reasons for Coma. The basic pathology is lack of oxygen to the brain or death of neurons in thatregion. Brain cannot survive without oxygen for more than 3 minutes after which it undergoes hypoxic brain damage. Even too much oxygen can sometimes damage the brain, similarly severe infections where in there is spread of infection thrugh blood can cause coma. Some infections affecting the brain can lead to coma. Damage of the brain via toxins, even alcohol or drugs in very high doses.

In medicine, a coma (from the Greek koma, meaning deep sleep) is a profound state of unconsciousness. A comatose patient cannot be awakened, fails to respond normally to pain or light, does not have sleep-wake cycles, and does not take voluntary actions. Coma may result from a variety of conditions, including intoxication, metabolic abnormalities, central nervous system diseases, acute neurologic injuries such as stroke, and hypoxia.

Mostly Blood Clots !
In Homeopathy OPIUM 1M(1000) or CM(100,000) and ARNICA in equivalent potency are used to bring any person from out of a Coma and I have never seen them fail to date. Most of the times just one dose of the two remedies together is enough to bring a person out of a Coma.
Take care and God Bless !
