I dont mean by bad investments....I mean really losing cash,coins, jewelery,or other valuables

I lost a 20 gallon jug full of quarters. I was moving and left it on the floorboard of the moving truck. Of course when I called them about it they didn't find anything.

I have never lost cash yes I did forget my cell phone once in a cab.... I have the habit of praying once I tell the cabbie about my destination, once I got a call from home which I took inside the cab...... after the brief conversation I put the cell on the side and continued with my prayer at the destination I promptly paid the cabbie and forgot the cell inside only after reachin my office I realised my loss.After this incident I never take calls when I am inside a public transport and even if I have to I attach the phone to my bag first!

I lost $160 because I put it in this pouch attached to my keys and left it in the cab after clubbing. I was stinking drunk so didn't realize it until I couldn't get into my apartment. Unfortunately, the apt didn't have a buzzer (intercom) so I had to call my family collect...no one answered cuz my brother unhooked the phone. So I was stranded with no cash in downtown at 2 am. At that point, I was more pissed that I am stranded than loosing the money.
I kept calling the cab company but seriously who would turn in that much cash anyway?

As long as u employed and hv steady income, I think, its just a matter of time u recovered.
