nuclear power is the most accessible technolongy right now; no other alternative power will become as accessible as nuiclear power in another decade.

I think we need to throw all of our time and money into perfecting nuclear fusion. Nuclear fusion is much cleaner, and much much much more efficient than nuclear fission. there is very little radioactive wast produced by fusion and what little there is will not be radioactive any more within a century, as compared to the waste from fission which remains radioactive for several century's. And if a nuclear fusion plant were to be blown up (for what ever reason) the area wouldn't have to be evacuated because the radiation hazard would be so minimal that the only place that would need caution would be at the plant itself. and you know how dangerous that scenario would be at a fission plant. Nuclear Fusion is the wave of the future but we need to put more money into the research for it, so we can prefect the technology faster.

Anyone who advocates nuclear power should live next door to a nuclear reactor to prove their bravery, and to see if their children come out deformed or not.

I'm all for the use of nuclear power. It's nukes I don't agree with. To be honest, I don't think any country ought to have nukes.
