Don't put up with this guy I just quit a job I had for 3 years because my ex boss treated me this way, I could write pages upon pages of s$@$ I had to go through because of him. If I were you I would report him to the EEO department. It's the labor board. This is a form of harrasment and it should not be tolerated. Word of advice if you go to his supervisor there is a chance nothing will be done. I told my boss' supervisor and they both teamed up and shot me down with questions telling me I was a liar. I resigned and was pretty blunt with the reason I was quitting. I made copies of every event, the resignation letter, everything, and got witnesses to sign statements who had been treated the same. This will help you if the labor board needs more info. Hopefully your boss doesn't make it long enough to treat others the way you have been treated. I'm still heated by everything and reading your question brought up my anger once again. But it just teaches me that it's not worth it and that job wasn't worth being treated the way I was. Good Luck!

Wow, what an a**! I'm not sure if there's anything you could say to such a person that would make a difference. I personally would either speak to his supervisor or look for another job and figure out what to say to him on they day I quit.....something along the lines of "I'm really sorry you feel you have to compensate for having such a small pen*s by putting others down....

Im sure you could talk to him and let him know how you feel but with the way you describe him I don't think he would care much. Is there a boss above him? A superior of his you can talk to about what he is saying? good luck

More than likely that would not make a difference. Feel sorry for him, he does it to make himself feel better or above you. Don't expect it to stop , you might want to look for a different job while putting up with him. Then tell him why your quitting 'that might not help you, but your replacement.

Go above his head. That is not acceptable behavior for the workplace. If that fails, see about filing a suit.

tell me is this a job you really wanted?? if it is then i suggest you better try to talk to your supervisor calmly and tell him his comments is hurting you, and if he would not listen you will try to bring this issue to a more sympathetic head (preferably his supervisor).. if all else fails i suggest you better find another job, no job is worth having your self worth undermined.

Maybe you could mention that defamation of character(slander) is illegal in the work place and that you would greatly appreciate him/her stopping.
