a lot of people shave their arms and dont have any problems with it. If you do and deciede to quit the hair will grow back like it is now. It is a myth that the hair will get thicker and darker. So if it bothers you that bad you should do it. If you dont like it after you do it then quit.

Don't ever ever ever ever ever shave your arm hair!! It's okay to be shaving the hair of your legs but shaving the hair of your arms is a different thing.
My friend shaved hers a week before a party and admittedly, it DOES feel really smooth as soon as the hair was gone. But after two weeks, when the hair started to grow back, it became coarser than it used to be. She stopped shaving her arms after that, until now, it's still coarse.
The point is, because shaving doesn't take out even the roots of the hair that's why it becomes stiff when it grows. The growth span of hair after shaving is also quick, which isn't really worth it.
I suggest you do laser hair removal. It's a bit expensive but the results are better than what you'd normally expect. Plus, after a few sessions (it could take as long as 3-5 years depending on when YOU want to take your session), your hair would stop growing because the laser destroys the roots of your hair. Which will leave you hairless permanently. Downside: IT HURTS A LOT.

Don't shave your arms. Instead use a hair removing cream to remove hair from your arms. Normally it's not a big deal to have hair on your arms, but since you feel uncomfortable then go ahead and try the hair removing cream. You can use any, but I use Sally Hansen. Also, hair grows back slower if you use a hair removing cream. I've also heard that shaving your arms will make the hair grow thicker but I don't know how far that's true. I hope I've helped.

I shave my arm hair. It is not that big of a problem. I also sometimes wax my arms so I don't have to deal with it as much. Waxing is better b/c it makes the hair grow back finer whereas shaving makes the hair more coarse since the ends are not tapered but blunt.

Dear you have no problem as such as it is natural.
SO do not get worked up for nothing at all. But on a serious advice do not ever shave as you start having thick growth. My advice to you is that please try to wax your arms and under arms as well. If not then you can use VEET which I am sure is an international hair removing brand and whereby you never get thick growth - the growth comes slowly and gradually but just like normal.

I don't think I would shave my arms. Maybe you could try bleaching the hair first and if that doesn't work then try waxing, it lasts longer than shaving. If it was me, I'd just leave it if the bleach didn't work. I don't think it's a big deal at all, but kids are cruel, and they might. Maybe you could just trim it? Check out the link below.

It's really not that serious, but if your really self concious about it and think you can deal with the pain, try getting it waxed. Otherwise, nair/veet it off, I really Don't suggest you shave... Nairing and shaving aren't the best ideas because it will end up growing back thicker, but I think shaving is the worst thing you can do. Your best bet is waxing, but it can be painful if you aren't used to it.

i would try bleaching it first. you can get the facial hair bleach for like 5 bucks - it'd last longer and wont feel all pkey like stubble growing back. or you can use that nair cream hair remover stuff - it'll last longer than shaving too. i'd only shave my forearms as a last resort.

You could try bleaching the hair (with a kit from the store, not with Clorox bleach). I've never tried it but I'm thinking about it after hearing good things.
