i do not know exactly what to say. as per the hindu mythology. bathing is a religious thing. The preferable time to take bath is before sunrise. a person has to take bath twice a day. its a good habit to take head bath for men on wednesdays and saturdays and women on tuesdays and fridays. these are based on the hindu mythology.
The ayurvedic form of medicine advises men to have their head full of oil before taking a head bath to make their body cool.
Before worshipping god it is a compulsion that ur mind should be clean. also ur body should be clean. and so holy towns are located in the banks of rivers there by people can take bath and worship their god.
but the general fact is that people who have less access to water in india take bath rarely. and the real fact is many people take bath often atleast once in a day.
and for the answer which u gave for my question regarding my eye problme, i was asking for indian cities not because i am a indian,but because i can have the operation done here where i am living.

Not Really Buddy...But before you start praying to god it is better to have a bath...but there are times when yu cant have a bath before praying..for Eg in tirupathi(famous temple) yu will have to wait for more than 2days some time to get Darshan of the God in those cases bathing is not at all possible
