how much would an industrial ear piercing cost to get done? What are the lows to getting one? do you know anyone that has one? what is the pain factor, does it hurt long after it is pierced?...

prices range from area to shop (call around-check the phone book) it was painful for me but one of my co-workers had a custom industrial that went from helix (upper ridge) to the conch (the big shell area of your ear) hers didnt hurt she said. they will be sore (cartilage normally is but the pressure from the bar will make it last longer) for around 2-3 months, its only painful for about 4-5 days but if it catches or gets bumped it's not fun.

i know someone with it done. it hurts like a b***h and apparently you can hear it going through your cartilidge. not too expensive. but i live in nz. cost about $30 excluding the bar.

and yeah it does hurt afterwards if you hit it and stuff. thats why you gotta decide if you want it that bad :)
