I have a friend who took in her mother-in-law when she became very sick. They also had 2 kids. The kids were great with her even though she had Alsheimer's Disease. Luckily they were able to give her her own room. It worked well. She eventually died but the family has no regrets and will always remember they did the right thing by her.

what if the situation were reversed and it was one of your parents who needed you, would you still have a problem doing the "right thing"?
