That was really a bad incident in the history of cricket. Pakistan really lack sportsmanship. if i was the umpire in place of daryl hare, i might have taken the same decision.

You have to be joking! No-one picked on hair....he started the whole thing by alleging, adjudicating and penalising the Pakistani team of cheating without providing any proof. Never has this been done before and the TV team with 26 cameras at the ground could not find any evidence. in every previous case of ball tampering, the TV crews were able to provide evidence.
Then when the Pakistani's staged their protest (who could blame them), the laws of the game stipulate a very precise action for the umpires, which he did not properly follow through. He can not declar a game forfeited without first warning the relevant captains that he is about to do it. (a "come back or else..." statement).
Finally, when everyone (English, Pakistanis, ICC, ECB, PCM, Brit Oval, Sky Sports and other umpires/referees) was willing to get on with the game, he refused as he considered himself too 'precious' to be seen to be changing his mind.
After all, for years he has been trying to prove that he is bigger than the game. It is now up to the game to tell him whether he is right.

they are picking on darryl hair for the wrong reasons. he and billy doctrove just played by the books.
