Try selling things that are off season...bathing suits and camping equipment in the winter, snow gear in early spring - things that you can't find in the stores because they have sold out for the season.
Arena, Speedo and Tyr New bathing suits with tags are FIERCELY bid on in the wintertime! Swim team is a year round sport, but the sporting goods stores don't even sell swimsuits in the winter time! I've purchased 2 high-end swimsuits on line in December, but bid and lost on many more! They often go for the same price as full retail.

Hmm, well really, it depends on the rarity, and the taste of it. My uncle has an online eBay store were he sells computer parts, he makes some pretty decent money off of that. And there is always the option of selling classic comics, toys, etc., everyone enjoys having a litle revisit to their childhood. I know for a fact that my father has spent a fortune on 6 Million Dollar Man dolls. I bet old school Barbie's would sell. I hope I helped somehow

Brand name clothes, sports memorabilia, antiques. Basically, genuine products, no knock-offs.
