AA, NA, GA, CA, MA, etc. There are a ton of Anonymous groups, sometimes referred to as XA, meaning ANY 12step group. They are all offshoots of Alcoholics Anonymous, a group that claims alcoholism is a spiritual disease and that the only solution is finding God. AA only works for 5% of the people who try it.
The others are mental health diagnoses shorthand. Consider yourself lucky if you never have a problem severe enough to end up with one of those labels.
