It was sad and angry when it happen, now I am thankful that both my Grandfathers had passed away without seeing it happen and seeing how we have dealt with it. They both fought in WWII, one as a Flying CB, the other was on a Battleship in the Pacific. I know if they had witnessed the WTC it would have hurt them more than it did me, they sacrificed way more for this country than I will ever have had the opportunity. My Grandfather were a
part of a very special generation hey united even though we didn't want to go to war the whole country just shut up and got the job done. Now, Paris Hilton is more important than America to a lot of people. When I think of 9/11 I think of how we rallied together and how now we would rather pick ourselves apart while we are attacked by our enemies instead of after we win.
United We Stand, Divide We Fall, dosen't mean we all have to agree but it does me we have to work together one an action is started ans see it through. I feel we may be weak and it makes me very sad.

Hi,Charmaine.I'm glad you asked that question.Honestly,I have mixed feelings about 9/11.I have a lot of anger and resentment towards the terrorists. And such incredible sadness for all the victims and their families.I think what those terrorists did,was completely unforgiveable. They were so motivated by hate, and evil, that many, many innocent people lost their lives unjustly, just like those young people at Columbine High School.
On the other hand, with the way people treat each other anymore,I'm not surprised this happened.I believe it was definitely a wake-up call from God,to see how our cruelty towards each other, has led to something so unexpected,so horrendous, and so final.
People are just so cruel anymore. The way we lie, deceive others, hurt other people, without having a conscience about it.I put we in there, because I,too,am guilty of hurting other people.I'm not perfect,I've never claimed to be perfect.Only God is perfect. And I believe it grieves Him,to see how we treat each other in this world.
God created the world, and the people in the world,so we can love each other.Care for each other. Not hurt each other, kill each other, and other forms of mistreatment.
9/11 was an event,I believe,to teach us all about the destructive nature of hatred. It starts out kind of small at first, then,as more people and circumstances influence its appetite,it just keeps feeding off from that negativity.Such as,to the point where, nothing is done about that hatred, before it reaches its final stages, the end result is destruction.Death,even.Damage that is permanent, irreversible, and inconceivable.
This is just the way I see things.Other people might see things differently. And I respect their [your]right to have a different opinion.
I feel that, with the way some of these people are on here, with their dumb questions, and their mindless answers to these questions, that they, too, are causing a lot of damage. They might be hurting themselves,so they set out to hurt other people,as well. But they don't seem to care,if they're hurting other people's feelings. And that makes me very, very sad.I wished that 9/11,could have gotten people to see, that hatred and violence will get you nowhere. But,sadly to say,I really, truly don't think that many people care anymore. Some people,I've found, enjoy hurting and mistreating other people. That's why they won't stop.

Very bad incident that could happen to human culture on earth. i have few questions.. hope they answer your question!
1. If killing innocent people is holy war.. then what is the meaning of actual war?
2. With sheer aggression, someone starts invading a country and leaves the people of that country in turmoil without actually catching the culprit, do you call this CONTEMPORARY WAR?
3. Neither the invader nor the intruder were affected but the thousands of innocent soldiers & citizens, their kins and fellow country men were the one who got affected. Whom to blame?
4. Think about the stock market volatility.. how many lost their bucks to live smoothly?
5. Think of those brave men who still managed to live on this earth even after loosing jobs.. were they really deserved that?

Its a day that will never be forgotten, for the rest of our existence september 11 will stick out like a sore thumb to the world. Personally I feel it should be because it was the day our own government turned on us for their benefit, but I know that hasnt been proven, and most likely never will, and If I am wrong, well its still a pretty sad horrible day for all of the world to remember.

I saw the news coverage and saw the second plane hit the building as it happened.I think my heart stopped for a split second.I know I cried and felt a sense of helplessness at what was happening.I live in Pa,about halfway between NYC and Washington,so fear was also an issue.I was very concerned for my son who was in school at the time, and what I could do to keep him safe.I felt for the people that were experiencing it first hand and for those who were desperately trying to find their loved ones.A very sad day for America.

When I first heard about 9/11 in 2001, I felt like my entire body and soul came tumbling down along with the World Trade Center. My entire spirit went down with the Twin Towers.

For one thing, that day made me feel that there was no God. All religions died for me on 9/11/01 . We got a first-hand look on how blind people can get for a belief. But throughout history we have known about worst atrocities in the name of a religion so it's nothing new. I think more people have died for religious fanaticism than from territorial wars. Another crazy thing for me is that I was born on 09/11/64. It was my worst birthday ever.
