You can have a predefined way to end your emails. For a work email, it would normally be your full name, department name, and company name and likely also your phone number. For a personal email it could be your phone number, or say a nice quote.
Once you've defined a signature, when you click "use my signature" the email program adds it to the end of the email.

A signature is just something to end your emails with. Like if you have a favorite quote, you can use that as your signature and it will appear at the end of your emails. If you want to get a signature, go to options in email, go to signature, and type whatever you want in there and save it. I hope that helps.

My Signature is an option through which if you write something like you name & contact no. will be automatically added at the bottom of each mail which you send.
I have found more information at http://tinyurl.com/nnv9f on how email works and how to troubleshoot email related problems.

When selected it will add a preset signature at the end of your message. It only works if you have set up a preset signature.

While composing e-mail, 'use my signature' mean the predifined signature of yours, i.e., the concluding part of your mail consisting of your name, e.g., Thanks/Regards/Cheers, . You have to predifine your signature from the "Mail Options".
