I suspect I may be in very early stages of pregnancy???? Can I take panadol for a cold?

NO. Medicine can be very harmful to the fetus, especially this early in the development. It prevents body parts from forming properly. I don't remember a lot about it but, I remember that at 38 days it is the ears.

You should drink no alcohol during your pregnancy. You should only take medications provided by your obstetrician who knows you are pregnant.

Panadol is a form of Acetaminophen, which is the drug in Tylonal. It is usualy safe during pregancy but you should consult your doctor first..ONly use when absolutlel needed. Its not a good idea to take much of any kind of medication during pregnancy.

my Dr said Panadol is fine - just not aspirin. i needed to take it when i was overseas

i am 12 weeks and had an ultrasound today - so far so good

Ask your doctor. People are all different, and your history can affect the way the medication reacts with your body as well as the possible baby. Nobody can give you better advice than the doctor.

To be on the safe side, you should never take any type of medication while you are pregnant unless your doctor has prescribed it for you.
